I joined CHAIN in 2014 as a volunteer. Through the various roles I have played since then, I have been mentored into a passionate patient advocate and leader. CHAIN offered me an opportunity to grow in my understanding of community and public health interventions and also created a platform for me to discuss patient issues and health at the community, national and international forums. As a result, I have been elected to sit on global patient advocates' forums.

Additionally, my skills in networking, presentation, and writing have greatly been built. l take pride in who I have turned out to be and I attribute it to CHAIN.
